Dear Usha Ma’am, it was indeed pleasure to be along with Indus. I will summaries My experience as follows:
Munnar:
Dream Catcher : Nice resort, friendly people but they need to pay attention to Guest requirements. There were no bathing towels in room and had to ask them couple of times to get 2 towels. Breakfast was nice. And thank you for complementary candle light dinner, we enjoyed it a lot. Visit to Eravikulam national park is not recommended, as it does not offer you anything. We had taken a massage at Mayura Ayervedic Centre as adviced / insisted by Ansar. This was ok.
Tekkady :
On the route to Tekkady we visited Anakkara Spice Garden – not worth. On checking various options on net found out that some other spice garden is recommended.
Hotel Kumaly gate : It’s an old property, my friend had booked Elephant Route hotel (New property) at same price for same day. Also this property is very much near to Elephant safari, Kalari & Kathakali centre and national park. I will recommend you to check for inclusion of this hotel. At Kumaly Gate food was nice. We faced the issue of mosquito even in the upgraded room. Boating in Perriyar lake in morning hr is recommended and is most enriching experience. Also at kumaly gate hotel breakfast options were only idli /dosa – they need to improve on this aspect.
Allapy : Houseboat ride was nice, people on boat were friendly. Food was mouth-watering.
Indus holidays - always approachable and trustworthy.
